LWHS School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council consists of teachers, support staff, parents, and community members who reflect the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school.  SAC’s were created by the Florida Legislature to assure continuous progress of Florida’s education goals in each school.  The purpose of the council is to develop, monitor, and evaluate results for school improvement.  The SAC reviews items such as the school budget, test scores, parent survey results, behavior and discipline, school safety, and many other topics involving our school and school improvement.

Observers are welcome at all SAC Meetings.  If a non-SAC member would like to address the SAC, a written request to June Ullman (SAC Chairperson) and Jenna North (SAC Secretary) seven days prior to the meeting is required.

LWHS SAC for the 2022-2023 school year will meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month except December at 7 am in the Media Center at LWHS. All non-employees need to check in to the front office with a valid ID (such as a FL driver's license)

SAC Meetings will be in person only for the 2022-2023 school year.
